Monthly Mission with Mission Change

February Monthly Mission: Share the LOVE!

Join us for our February Monthly Mission!

Saturday, February 18th

10am until 1pm

It is time to show our love to our kids in the McIntosh Projects area in downtown Albany! You know that our hearts have a special place for our inner city youth that join us in the park on the corner of 1st Ave. and N. Davis St. Our neighbors in the area have been part of our lives for over 2 years now, and are part of our family as well!

We will have LOTS of things going on at the park for a Valentine's party! Kickball games, relay games, arts and crafts, snacks, candy, and plain 'ole fellowship with one another. It has been amazing to see relationships with our kids become friendships, and see their families slowly becoming part of our lives as well.

Many of you ask why we go to the park so much, and it's simple! Our monthly missions are not a one time fix all moment. The monthly missions are hosted for relationship building and finding a place in the lives of those in need where we can continue to walk with each person out of poverty, specific situations, and plainly be there as we become concerned for our neighbors. It's the simplest moments that mean the most...and that's where are. Nothing fancy, a park...picnic blankets...snacks...games...fellowship. It means the world to someone.

NEEDS LIST:

Valentine's candy (100 kids)
construction paper (to make cards)
glitter
markers
canvas or art paper
paint brushes
acrylic paints of all colors (ESPECIALLY: red/pinks/black/white)

DIRECTIONS TO PARK:
