I AM ASU Campaign

In 2009, one Pre-Alumni member came up with the idea to host a Campaign that promotes Pride in ASU

This campaign was creatively named I AM ASU

#ALBANYSTATEUNIVERSITY #ALBANYSTATEUNIVERSITY #ALBANYSTATEUNIVERSITY

The First activity of the campaign---- BUTTONS to get the word out about I AM ASU, Pre Alumni gave students buttons and asked student to make a pledge to the University ... " I will be an active giver to my university upon my graduation from Albany State University"

This Year Pre-Alumni is looking to make this campaign even BIGGER!!!

Mrs. Jo Neal Freeman, First Lady of Albany State University
It is with much despair and regret that we inform you of the passing of the First Lady of Albany State University, Mrs. Jo Neal Freeman. Your prayers are solicited on behalf of President Everette Freeman and his family during this time of bereavement. Due to the large volume of calls and concerns, expressions of sympathy should be directed via email to weloveJoFreeman@asurams.edu<mailto:weloveJoFreeman@asurams.edu> and to Albany State University, the Office of the President at 504 College Drive Albany, GA 31705. Final arrangements for Mrs. Freeman are pending at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the ASU Foundation Jo Neal Freeman Memorial Scholarship Fund.
